Privacy Policy
Our transparent commitment to digital privacy, GDPR, CCPA compliance, and reader data minimization.
Effective Date: September 12, 2026. The Chronicle Dispatch ("we," "us," or "our") respects your digital autonomy. This Privacy Policy details the limited data we process when you read our publication, subscribe to our briefing newsletters, or communicate with our journalists.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
As an HTML-first static publication, The Chronicle Dispatch does not employ invasive biometric tracking, cross-site third-party ad profiling networks, or keystroke loggers. We believe reading the news should not require sacrificing personal privacy.
2. Information You Provide Directly
When you subscribe to The Morning Dispatch or our topical newsletters, you provide your email address. We use this exclusively to deliver requested editorial dispatches. You may unsubscribe at any moment with a single click in the footer of any dispatch.
3. Server Logs & Analytics
Our static edge delivery network processes standard technical server access logs (such as IP addresses, browser user agent strings, and requested URI paths) solely for diagnostic health, DDoS mitigation, and aggregated readership traffic auditing. These logs are purged automatically after 30 days.
4. Your Legal Rights (CCPA, CPRA, GDPR)
Regardless of your geographic jurisdiction, you have the right to request access to any personal data associated with your email address, request its permanent deletion, or opt out of any non-essential cookies. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@chronicledispatch.com.
